Running on Empty
Lately,
I’ve been trying
to squeeze a dollar
out of a dime
and an hour
out of every minute.
But it never
seems to work.
Time
is money.
Money
is time.
Well,
I don’t have enough
of either one.
It’s almost like
everything requires
some kind of
little sacrifice.
And all I’ve done
is give and give,
but there’s not much
left now.
