My Nepal

My Nepal

My country;
When I left you
I did not become of nowhere.
I write, I need to find words to sing a song about you.
But I don’t need music to utter your name
I already have it within me.
When I beheld the tough roads
And the breathtaking mountains
Even a beloved’s beating heart gets less loved;
When I traced your rivers
And stepped on your hills.
The plain of summer heat,
The senses of cold mountains treat
Offered me a globe of belonging.
My Nepal, you have a heart of a paradise.
You have nurtured me so passionately
Sometimes when I was away from you I was still breathing the entire world.
