Bal Sahitya Puraskar Awardees in Nepali language
The Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Puraskar is a literary award in India, which the Sahitya Akademi, India’s National Academy of Letters, annually confers on writers for their contribution in the field of Children’s literature in any of the 22 languages of the 8th Schedule to the Indian constitution. Instituted in 2010, it comprises a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and an engraved copper plaque.
The award is given to authors for their outstanding contribution to children’s literature – Novels, Short stories, Poetry, Folktales, Non-fiction, and overall contribution to children’s literature.
