Life in the ‘Stream of Consciousness’

Life in the ‘Stream of Consciousness’ - Poem by Rajendra Ojha (Nayan)

Not only do I want to write through ‘Stream of Consciousness’,
More than that, I’d like to live deeply in it.
Leaving or smashing all the existing boundaries
that my soul considered obstacles to living a life;
With the power of ultimate freedom,
I’d like to move wherever my heart takes me.

Life is a nutshell to dissolve in conventional rules;
And if we are unlucky enough to dissolve completely in them,
We might live a life compromised of ‘free will’.
But embracing the spontaneity of our individuality,
And leaving all the pre-determined social paths—
Will strengthen our self-expression with our soul thoughts and desires.

If we understand the true scope of life through
the lens of the ‘stream of consciousness’,
Genuine, raw expressions that are possessed by this lens;
makes this life simple yet unmiserable.
Until our lives are surrounded by mindfulness,
We enjoy the lean towards the subjective matter of:
‘Stream of Consciousness’.

To live in a world of socially created virtues,
We imprisoned ourselves with lots of principles.
Hoping to enjoy life in its fullest form in the future,
Some of us are eaten up by pseudo-motivation.
